I have stayed at the Holiday many times when traveling for work. The staff is always helpful, professional, and friendly. The hotel and rooms are always very clean. The breakfast never misses a beat. There are always many choices complete with the delicious cinnamon rolls. My only negative feedback is the location. The one-way streets may have you doing around in circles. Also the parking has increased to $25 per day, and the parking lot is rather small. Overall, it is still one of the best downtown hotels in downtown KCMO.
We always stay here when we visit Kansas City! Beautiful, clean rooms and great breakfast. The staff is always friendly. Tierra went above and beyond for us before, during and after our stay! She was so accommodating. She’s a keeper!
Stayed at the holiday inn and had an awesome experience. The staff made the entire visit stand out- friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything i needed. Their service alone made the stay feel easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Stayed 9/19-20/25, front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and provided a nice view of downtown, breakfast was good and I enjoyed my stay! Highly recommend if you want to stay near the T-Mobile Center.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The young lady at the front desk was especially kind. The room was very clean and refreshed daily and the hotel was in a safe location with parking. The breakfast was great with several hot and cold options with a lovely dining area. I highly recommend this hotel! Next time I come to KC I will definitely stay here. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Very clean and comfortable rooms and facilities overall. Beautiful, nicely decorated, historic building. Complimentary cookies downstairs are quite good. Tram is a short walk away and so are some restaurants and attractions. Nice view from my room, and I was able to do laundry time with quarters which was very convenient. Everyone at the front desk was polite and helpful. My only complaint is the elevator is a bit slow, but it is an old building so that isn't too surprising. There are two elevators, though, and I prefer to take the stairs when I can, anyway. Would definitely stay here again.
The stay was very nice. Our room was cold the first night, but the staff helped the next morning with getting us a space heater to help out. Very friendly and quick response to our needs. It is not a quiet hotel, because of the location. It is nearing a police station and we heard sirens all through the night.
This was a really nice hotel. The best part are the beds! They were so comfortable, I really wish I knew which brand and model they use on the second floor. We stayed here in November of last year and the staff were so nice. If any employee of the hotel could get back to me about the beds, I would appreciate it so much!
